Title: What is a Non-Lien Sale?
Post by: Travis on January 29, 2014, 11:11:42 PM
AddichCat asked: Noticed that you have sales listed on the site that say "Non-Lien Sale - Private Seller." What does this mean?

Non-Lien Sales can be posted by storage facilities, auctioneers or private sellers. In most cases, private sellers will put their storage units up for auction. Normally, you won't find anything really valuable inside these units; however, the seller will usually let you know what the unit contains in their description. Units like this can be great opportunities for people who are looking inventory and don't mind selling common merchandise like clothing, furniture, general household goods, etc.

Storage facilities might also sell a unit that isn't in default. These are commonly referred to as "manager's units" and usually consist of property that was left behind by a tenant or multiple tenants.
