This guy is awesome. His wife mut be even more so.
Not many would put up with filling your garage with broken washing machine.

I like this guy too. His articles are very informative. I follow many of his rules, and will start putting my Google Voice number into my listings!

Good craigslist post are so simple yet nobody does this. Ask yourself if I was gonna buy this what would I want to know?
Info about product, is it working properly, maybe why your selling it. Clear pictures, pictures from multiple angles. Dimensions if its osmething larger that may not fit in a car.
I cant believe how many ads have no pics or someone takes a pic of a car or motorcycle from inside their garage at night iwth a dim yellow garage light. It's like hey I know what the sillouette of a bonneville looks like I wanna see what YOUR car looks like.

Pictures is what I have the most trouble with. In my space, I just don't have the room to move around and it's all fluorescent lighting, not the most appealing.. Also, my back room is wood paneling, because the guy who had this space before me was like 80.. Big stuff sucks to take picture of in the store. I've got a really nice dining room table set for sale. It's beautiful, but I can't take a decent picture to give it justice.
