The wife sold an old crappy outside table and chairs today for 50 buck, she didn't even include the umbrella. LOL
Last summer I was so tired of moving that thing around just to cut the grass. Thank you Craigslist..... :-*

What would we do without Craigslist?
I remember the "old days", when we had to run an ad in the newspaper or the little nickel, and then technology advanced and I could fax in ads to the buy and sell....just write out the ad on a form they had and FAX them in...that was awesome and it was free!
Boy, those were the days! :72: My grandpa used to tell me all the time, "the only good thing about the good old days is that they are gone"!

For starters, you'd pay $30 per ad placed in the local newspaper.

we'd have to actually get dressed and go out to bars for casual sex oh man that would be terrible lol

You must be thinking of BackPage.com.

Its disturbing how much I rely on craigslist. I'd like to explore other avenues but without having to shell out money there is nothing that compares.

What I don't get is why someone hasn't created a site which combines eBay & Craigslist. Auctions, but on a local level.

That sounds like a great idea, especially for large items/furniture.

Posted 2 nightstands Monday evening, got a text 45 minutes later. They talked me $10 and never showed. Sold them today for original price.
