Thanks Movieman,
The first two things I sold were $56 and $51 being a new seller holding my money. No big deal I understand why they do it.
I got you on the reserve money just the account that is attached is one I don't use very much. Put money in it to pay bills online and such. So if transfer the shipping cost from my other account then pay for shipping would have taken to long... Sorry I don't trust banks have been burned to many times. Love my current bank and they are great but I don't trust that lovely NSF crap. My shipping for the first two items was $30 total.. Thanks so much for the advise on the $3.00 put that in and it helped. Of course the smaller item lost about $7.00 on it but sure beets $40. Did not put the $3.00 in it.
I do the round up the change in my checking account.. My husband calls it cushion money.  ;D

"The only complaint I have ever had with eBay is when they took away the seller's ability to leave negative for a buyer (that happened a couple of years ago.)" I will agree to that no protection to sellers.

Shipped all today total cost was $44 I charged $35.50. The small one got me. Lady at the post office was very helpful. So as long as my buyers are happy I will be on my way as an ebay seller.

I put a set of copper pans on ebay thank goodness they did not sell did not have the shipping right. I am going to sit on them a while and re list later once I get some feedback.

Got my account set up and been taking pictures, writing descriptions, calculating shipping etc., but time has been an issue for me. Glad to see you do well on yours.

I know it is a little time consuming I have to try and catch up with our recent locker purchase, and got a box lot of stuff for $5.00. With sell able ebay stuff. So I will be busy.  :).
Miller list the ones you have done. once you see some money for your work makes it easier to find more time ;D. Just 5 or 10 at once then move on to the next. and that gives you some feed back. Why I am sitting on one of my items. Oh I even messed up advertising one of the items but thankfully she liked it and is going to keep it. Anyway good luck.

You don't need to calculate shipping anymore. Just select the calculate by location option in the drop down box, then enter the final package shipping weight and dimensions. Now whenever someone views the shipping, the charge is automatically displayed to them for the cost to ship to them from your zipcode. Just add $3-$4 for a handling charge and that will be automatically added the the shipping cost and the buyer never sees it.
