Title: I hate fees!
Post by: Drew on April 28, 2010, 11:43:23 AM: I only use ebay for smaller goods that are easy to ship that are atleast worth 50 bucks! Mostly electronics. I just hate all the fees! Gotta pay to list it gotta pay a final value fee then gotta pay a paypal fee!! Stop taking my money!!

I am with you on this, Used Ebay one time about three years ago and figured out real fast that they were the only one making money on the deals.

Post by: drbecker on June 07, 2010, 04:10:44 PM: Ebay fees are nasty. I will not put somethin on unless I think it will go for over $100. The fees on small items is so bad you can end up netting nothing. Ebay is nasty about kicking items off for no reason as well.

Post by: Milton on December 19, 2010, 01:46:00 PM: I have a Ebay account that is about 10 years old, only used it to buy stuff and decided a couple weeks ago to sell some stuff there.

I sell RC planes products that sell from $10.00 to $600.00.

I listed some RC engines and made my first sell for $365.00, Took the buyer 4 days to send funds and I was away when he sent it, The next day he filed for buyers protection, I emailed him and said I would refund his money, did not want a unhappy customer.

Long story he leaves me bad feed back that he never received the Item, but he got his refund that day.

Emailed Ebay about the trader rating but they did nothing, So my first sell on Ebay I got a bad trader rating and as of right now have sold about $660.00 and my fees are $82.00.

So my Ebay selling did not last long LOL.

So sorry to hear about your Ebay experience! I've been selling on Ebay for over 9 years now. Most of my experiences have been good. But it only takes a few to make a bad day! Hope that you don't give up! I would take a chance and email the buyer a nice letter explaining to them that you're new to selling and that you made it right by giving them a refund and if they would please remove the negative feedback for you. It doesn't hurt to ask "nicely". Just my 2 cents! Healthe

I have been selling from my site for 7 years and untill Ebay I never had a problem.
