Post by: Travis on April 10, 2014, 08:09:32 PM
Has anyone sold or tried to sell a vehicle on eBay motors? If so, how did it work out for you?

I have sold and bought vehicles on eBay. I never had an issue doing either. The main thing when selling is to document all things wrong, both in the description and the pictures. If you're still driving it, be sure to add mileage to the actual reading, plus write in the description that the vehicle is being driven and to allow for additional miles. I also state that the vehicle is available for sale locally and that I reserve the right to pull the ad if it becomes sold. The other thing I do is to say that the vehicle is available for viewing by appointment. This way no one can come back and say that things were hidden from them. If you've offered the vehicle to be viewed and they didn't do so, then it's all on them.

I've bought and sold cars and motorcycles in the past but I believe they redid their fee structure in the past year or two so much different. I think they have like an ebay classifieds which is very low cost and then the auctions cost a bit more. Havn't looked into ebay motors in quite some time though.
