I normally don't have much good to say about ebay but I actually like it. Sure it was actually a fee hike but it actually kind of suits my selling style and my mindset about ebay.

I'm cheap so I always hate listing something for paying a few bucks and then not having it sell. Profit margins on ebay acn be so think having to relist once or a few times can start cutting into profits on some items.

With the new fee structure we pay higher FVF fees and fvf on shipping however listing fee is free and so is buy it now.

I tend to do a lot of 0.99 cent start auctions even for good items and sometimes wind up giving stuff away. Sure I'd prob be better off listing for higher prices and getting hit with more fees for items that dont sell but just never really wroked that way.

With the new fee structure I just listed a baseball blogve that I probably in the past would have sold for 0.99 cents and let the auction run its course but listed it for a few bucks with a $25 buy it now. Someone bought it now day 1 so didn't have to wait for the auction to run its course and got 4-5 times what I would have gotten my old way of listing.

If that is the way ebay is doing it now, then I more than likely will go back to them. Just depends on how much of a cut they are doing on the shipping and handling and the cut they take from teh final.

I am maybe one of the few in here that will say that i like the new fee system from Ebay.

I have never liked the insert fee pluss a end fee.
Now i can list 50 auctions a month without an insert fee, just sales fee at the end.
I like this much better.

I have to say that ebay have never been my number one selling place, and it never will be. But the change is for the better in my eyes.

Mr. A. I really ike the new structure as well. I like trying a few diff price points nad seeing if it sells high if not drop price. With the old system on higher priced items I may wind up paying $5 just to have an item not sell and then I gotta relist it again.

With this new way you can try a high price point if it doesn't sell lower it nad try again. I'm always surprised by the amount of good items that wont sell even if reasonably priced or sometimes you gotta list them several times just waiting for the right buyer to be loggedon the week you have it for sale.

Like I said, I was getting to the point where I'd make money off a unit and then juts list things for 0.99 cents to start clearing out my house. I did this with a D&G jacket and only got like $3 for it. My own fault for doing it that way but with the new structure probably would have priced it for like $50 plus nad just let it sit until it sold.

That baseball glove I got over $30 for after everything was said and done was probably one in the past I would have started at 0.99 cents and could have ended there. I wound up getting $30 for it. yaya
