Title: How prevalent are “hot” items at your flea markets?
Post by: MovieMan on January 25, 2013, 06:46:50 AM
Once in a while (maybe one or two times a year) the cops are seen at booths at my flea market and we come to find out it was about stolen goods.

What experiences have you seen at your fleas with either used or "off the back of a truck" stolen goods?

At the Barnyard, where I sell it is not a common thing.  Big reason is they have a patrolman that walks every booth.  Now, the other flea a mile up the road.  They are always getting busted there.  The rules there are very slim, no cop, no oversight, etc.  Pirated music, movies, porn to minors, etc. is always going on up there.  Barnyard table spaces are higher but they bring in larger crowds, more buyers, etc.
