I've been auction hunting since the summer and when I do my reselling I knew of 3 options. A place called traders village, flea market, and yard sale. When I go to traders village I get a nice big spot for only $5 for the day. It is a nice place, very clean with lots of traffic. However this place is where I make the least amount of money. The second option is our local flea market. It cost $25 for a small spot, dirt roads, not a great place but I always pull in a couple hundred or more, and it ends early around noon so your whole day isn't wasted. Then there's my yard sales. I'm only allowed to have them 4 times a year but they normally pull in $1000 over a weekend. My wife and I started auction hunting last summer and we do it to make extra money and have been able to find awesome pieces of furniture to furnish what was once our empty apartment. We now have lots of like new name brand furniture and electronics. We also pull in almost an extra $2000 a month. We buy one unit a week and normally get units that are under $100. We love doing it.
