Title: Auction Times
Post by: BigBizzz on September 21, 2011, 10:05:11 AM
I dunno cus i usually sleep in late but any of u notice any difference with times of auctions and price. And people. Like do earlier ones say 9:30 am get less peeps than the latter like 11:30 noon?
Thinking bout hitting up a early auction today, but only if its beneficial.

I'm a firm believer that the early bird catches the worm. There may be fewer people at early auctions for  variety of reasons. Some people like to sleep in, others get stuck in traffic, some have children they need to drop off at school. The list goes on and on. Whatever the reason, having fewer people competing for a unit increases your odds.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I think Friday auctions have fewer pros. Most pros try to get as much inventory as they can before Friday, so they can spend Friday preparing for their weekend sales.
