Finding canned food in storage units is quite common, but are they safe to consume? Some of these units can reach temperatures of 130 +/- degrees in summer. Do you think canned food is still good after being heated up every day for months?

How is it any different from people storing canned foods in their garages?

If they're still in their expiration dates and smell/look fine when I open them, I eat them. If they're really close to expiring or 1-2 years expired, I'll give them to my relatives to feed to livestock.
Older than that, and in the dumpster they go.

they're fine. just look for can expansion. i have 4 kids and they eat all the canned goods
-
a guy i knew took a gamble and ate canned jams out of a unit.. he was out of commission for about 3 weeks.

i dont eat things that have been canned unprofesionally. theres so much that can go wrong when canning food, i wouldn't risk eating that. But if its some del monte green beans and the can looks intact im good to go

I normally just toss them, its normally just a few and normally not even anything good like progressive soup which can be a couple bucks, whenever I find canned goods its like aldi carrtos and stuff like that, I just toss them, figure thats probably like 0.40 cents down the drain oh well.
