Creative solutions are the best!

Back in October I bought this unit for $25 all it had in it were 16 tires (4 complete sets) but they were completely worn...

I tried listing them on craigslist at $100 a set no one bit
Then I tried listing them for $50 a set still no takers
Next set $25 a set got a couple of calls here one asked for $20 a set and would take all 4 i said ok. NO SHOW. ugh.
Finally I said screw it I'll wait till next year and deal with them....
I go get an oil change for my cargo van at my friends garage and happen to mention the total PITA these tires are, he asks to take a look and we go take a look he likes them but won't pay so he offered me 70% off all service for my personal car and cargo van for 1 year! Worked for me, that's like money in the bank. I will most certainly come ahead on this deal now.

So moral is don't give up you never know how you're gonna rid yourself of your inventory!

Sounds like a good deal to me.

We received some free stuff from our neighbour.  We got about 200 plant nursery pots, found a small nursery willing to trade for them. Got 8 tree's (3gal and 1 gal) and 4 grasses. Plus a new contact for nursery things and some plants of mine he wants. All good.

Also got a trampoline frame turned it into a green house it is really cool.

Bartering is great. We barter when we do our yard sale for the space. She usually finds something she wants and then after all is said and done we give her some of our inventory for her to sell. We don't charge her for the things she wants. We keep our cash and pay for our spot.

Bartering stuff can be just as profitable as selling.  I traded a heated AC device for cars I got in my latest unit for a kindle fire - new in box.  So for the $160.50 I paid for the unit I got a $199 kindle.  So made $30 in a sense and still have all the other inventory to sell.

Have a 1.5T chain hoist another auction buyer wants.  Waiting to see something good she pulls out of a locker to trade her.

Only thing I have found out about bartering is people will try and bend u over a barrel right now here.
