Got 2 Thursday, 1 for 75.00 that had a new traveling massage table worth 150.00. The 2nd for 70.00 that I already sold 2 TV's for 80.00. Took 2 van loads and truckload for everything, have gone thru it all and expect to make another 400.00 and we kept 75.00 worth of items. Exhaustingly long 20 hr day Thursday and another 8 today to go thru and sort everthing but has been exciting, strange ( personal items ), and blown away at what I found. Happy hunting and small crowds ( ours was 15 ).

That's really great. With the small crowds did you go to an advertised auction or did you find out about it by calling around?

Congratulations!!

nice job, keep at it :)

I have put together a database for my area and spend time calling facilities, but this one I found out about through a service I wanted to check out (10.00/mo.); I may keep it for another month now. The crowds here seem to number 10-20 weekday auction, 40-50 Sat. auction

congrats millertime! you did really well! i agree with calling around as most are too busy to or unmotivated to do the daily dialing- all it takes is a bit of discipline :) i like the corporate facilities that dont use an auctioneer as they arent interested in driving the price up because they dont get a cut...

Just a quick update on my units. We ended up keeping about $100.00 worth of items including 8 nice totes with lids and a 6ft Lifetime folding table, and a bunch of fleece loungewear for my daughters. Have total sales of $325.00 so far, with about $125.00 left to go. The most valuable thing is my wife is totally on board and did research and made sales for me.

Totes are a good keep, hell at this point I would have to consider myself a hoarder when it comes to totes. Wonder if that is bad?
