Has anyone been to a shipping container auction?

Has anyone been to a shipping container auction? If so, were the prices as high as they are on the show Container Wars? What kind of merchandise do you see?

I seen the show and after seeing the prices I changed the channel.....  never been to one..

Yeah, the show doesn't really appeal to the masses like storage auctions do.

One, you would have to live near a port to go to a container auction.

Two, the average Joe doesn't have 20-40K to risk and if they do, most couldn't sustain a few loses.
