Just wondering if anyone has come across a hydroponic grow room in a unit? Now that marijuana is legal in some states, this might become a more common occurrence.

Never a hydroponic one, but I have come across a few. I have found charcoal filters, tons of fans, tons of lights from 400-1000 watt...MH and HPS......with ballasts, the little grow rooms (4'x8' and 4'x6') and all kinds of hoods and set ups.....some professional and some just pieced together home made set ups. It all sells though!

I bet. I would imagine that most illegal growers would prefer to buy their equipment from a private party rather than a store or online retailer who might be being watched by authorities.

you just advertise them as hydroponic tomato growing kits and no one gets in trouble.

Haven't seen the door open on an operating grow room although have seen some lights. There is one location we go to that we think has active grow rooms. You can smell them. So far they pay the rent because they don't come up for auction.

I had one with a small hydroponic grow kit, nothing large scale.

I've not seen any operational ones, but I have seen several units with the remnants and used equipment to set up a hydroponics grow room. I avoid bidding on those type of units, they just look like trouble to me. ;)
