When I read the title I thought you meant physically lost.  I have driven around a storage facilities looking for my locker because I forgot to write down the unit number.

I've never had the need to keep a storage unit except for selling my wares from other auction purchases.

Huh ?

I'm sure he's means to ask if you've ever been a tenant and had your unit go to auction for non-payment.

Uh, I don't know about Utah, but all the auctions I go to in California I have received a receipt when I paid for the locker. It comes from either the auctioneer or the facility....AND...IT HAS THE LOCKER NUMBER ON IT !    ;D
