Has anyone found items of historical significance in a storage unit?

I don't know if it's necessarily historically significant but I once found a lot of letters and post cards from a soldier. One of them had an air mail stamp that was dated 2 days after the Normandy invasion. I thought it was pretty cool that the letter (which was missing from the envelope) was most likely letting a loved one know they survived the battle.

I did find a old recording device that uses wax roll to record on. Tubes look what would be used in a player piano
