Title: How far do you travel for an auction?
Post by: HomeGrownPromos on February 06, 2013, 10:07:01 PM
I typically don't travel more than about 30 miles to an auction. I live in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area so that covers 3 major cities and many larger towns so there is a lot going on. Typically there are about 6-10 auctions a week in my 30 mile radius.

However, if I stretch that to 50 miles I would pick up Fayetteville and the surrounding area, much of which is military.

So as I mull over my situation, what is your max for travel to an auction? Let's say 3-5 units up for auction.. I know we'll all go a bit further for the mega sales..

Edit:

And this is a link to a thread where the over 2500 members here can actually VOTE in a poll telling how far they would travel. So far only 26 people have voted. Maybe we can get that up to 30 !  ;D

I found those after I posted my question. Sorry about that. I had been on the site for about an hour and a half and couldn't find any posts related to distance.. I guess I just wasn't looking in the right spot.
