That happened in my area big time through out August and the first part of September.

Theyve averaged 1-3 unpaid lockers at their auctions whereas before the shows they averaged 8-12

Post by: lucky13 on October 13, 2011, 12:26:36 PM: the last auction i went ot was supposed to have 13 places and it ended up only 3 the auctioneer said it was because the lien laws changed and they had to cancel most of the auctions

Buyers and renters also watch the show, so I bet the renters of the units got a fast message in there heads and have wised up now knowing if they dont pay someones to to own there stuff. Same in my area auctions all the time getting cancled or from 10 units to 3 units and most of them are trash.

Post by: mncableguy on October 14, 2011, 08:56:22 PM: Went to a all day marathon of auctions (same company, different locations) and the numbers of units at most was 2-3, one had 15 one had 8, one 16. I think it was 10 stops in total. I missed several of them though. One was indoors and I am not in the mood to haul someones junk down 4 levels to a loading dock and I had to leave for work.

4 units total where pulled because the renter paid up.

I bought one unit. Most went for more than I thought they where worth but I am a cheap skate.

I did almost have the manager of one rental place talked in to paying me to haul a unit away for him. Nothing but 100% junk in it. it no saled.

My locker was a wysiwyg. Got my self enough shelving to cover a 50 foot wall for 100 bucks and the little women got a new coffee table she loves :)
