Title: Military Officer's Uniform In Unit
Post by: Travis on December 12, 2012, 06:33:23 PM
I have probably told you guys this before, but I recently moved to a town located near Fort Hood. You see a lot of storage units here with military gear inside of them. One of the units that I bought today contained an officer's green service uniform decked out with all the patches and medals. This is the first time I have bought a unit with a uniform like this and I'm wondering if its appropriate to leave the uniform with management along with family photos and documents. I did a little research online and these suits aren't cheap. They average about $400 for the pants, jacket and shoes. They seem to be selling for around $150 used on Craigslist. So what do you think, sell it or give it back?

Sell, sell, sell. That's the whole point.

If it was important to the owner they would've paid for the unit. I say sell it.

It turns out that the officer's green service uniform is obsolete. Apparently the Army just changed it's dress uniform color to blue. Oh well, maybe a prop house or costume company would be interested in it.

If it's in my unit I own it. The only thing I return is Urns.
