Pods, U-Box & 1-800-Packrat Auctions

For those of you who frequent the Pods, U-Box, 1-800-Packrat and other portable storage auctions, would you say that the quality of the merchandise is better, lower or about the same?

Are there any major differences between portable storage auctions and regular storage auctions?

One really cool thing about buying one of these units is that you can have the container brought to your home or place of business, then you only have to move your merchandise once.

Merchandise is sometimes a little better but bidding tends to be alot higher. Those auctions draw more novices and treasure hunters. One of the differences is sometimes instead of auctioning off the whole crate or pod, they pull the contents out and auction off individual pieces or "lots".
