Title: Question about listing on ebay..
Post by: LoneStarAds.US on October 08, 2011, 04:32:01 PM
What does everyone here do with there collections they find in storage?  I found a collection of 1/6 scale military dolls and gear.  I only found three dolls (action figures) but I have a huge lot of the gear.

It really threw me off that people collect this stuff.  Who would've thought?

I've put the pictures and this partial topic under what is it worth section but was wondering if it would be worth splitting all this stuff up or selling it as one massive lot?

Im leaning towards one massive lot.  I took pictures this morning and that took me a while. There is alot.

What would you do with this stuff if you found it in a storage locker?

heres the post with pictures (slightly image heavy).

Check how other people have them listed.Don't list to many at once. You don't want to compete against yourself. If you can include international listing. Its amazing how well military stuff sells to Europe and Japan.Good luck.

For collections it really depends what I get if I try to ebay it or not.  If it's sports cards and such I look for autos, rares, etc. and may sell them as individuals.

For your stuff I'd pick a sample of gear and use your 50 free listings.  Post 5 or 10 different items and see how well they do.
