Out of every unit you have bought that contained a safe, how many of them contained valuables and how many were empty or only contained personal documents? Small fire safes included.
My ratio is about 2 in every 10.

The only times I find valuables in safes is when I watch Storage Wars or Auction Hunters. :D

Perhaps you need to spend less time watching Storage Wars or Auction Hunters and more time at the auctions buying storage units. ;)

I think I once found a few items in a safe it was sports memorabilia not real great maybe $50 worth of stuff tops. Normally I find paperwork of no value. Never found any gold or cash did find a worthless airsoft pistol and some porn in safes.

I've never found that goldmine item worth thousands though I have found some good stuff. To me a great item is a whole tote bin full of thomas the train tracks and toys that go for a few bucks a pop or a designer purse or an expensive piece of electronics worht a few hundred bucks but I've never found a safe or gold bars or anything crazy like that

From all the rooms I've ever found gold in, currently up to about 5 lbs, never found one pennyweight in a safe. I'm 0/50+

Yeah, most of my gold finds have been in drawers, jewelry boxes or make up bags.

Almost never. Found one lockbox with a bunch of personal papers and $80 in the back of a checkbook. Other than that mostly empty or just old personal papers. I can't remember any of my buyer friends ever finding anything worth mentioning in a safe either. It seems like the good stuff is always just in some random box or drawer.
