Was looking on Cl for free stuff and then search for Garage sales, and what do I see STORAGE AUCTION ON DEC 8 @10:00 am. with a web address so I copy & past go to a site that I don't recognize. For $29.99 you get a book, 3months of advice and a money back guarantee from a pro doing it for 3 years. Then there are other links on how to not be a total Nob. One says to use the dumpster at the facility. WHAT.
So I go and click on the Auction link, and low and behold it is our biggest Auctioneer. (they do over 16 facilities in our area every month) Explains why there have been so many people there. They just started charging a 10 % BP. :'(
We were planning on attending to just show our faces, now I don't think we will bother.

I saw one of the saturday auctions advertised on CL. Was the same one that had a big neon sign out front with the date/time of auction. I didn't bother to make the hour drive to that auction.

We have one storage place that only lists on craiglist.

We also advoid the storage faciltys that have become sell outs due to the tv. Big signs that say auction here today we just keep on driving cause you the price are going to be way over retail and flooded with tv show monkey see monkey do people that have no clue but to hope all there answers to the finance problem will be in that 10x20 unit.
