Title: Storage Wars....Real World Videos....not about the TV series !
Post by: MovieMan on August 02, 2011, 03:35:05 PM
Both of the videos in this post are only 30 seconds long, so not too much of your lives wasted !  ;D

There are many of these videos on YouTube: Here's one that given the price and the product received seems somewhat typical. How he paid that much I don't know; even in my area from the view I think we would have had I can't imagine more than $300 for it.

feature=related

The next one is entitled "Jackpot find from a storage locker"....what an idiot. Read the comments too, they're funny as well.

seriously, $900 for that **** unit. I dont even see it going for $250 here, and that would of been a gamble. And from the looks of inside, hell naw, no profit even if you bought it for $250. He really screwed himself.

Is this before or after the hype that the shows created? Another reason that people pay so much is not because of the show, they are noobies that are getting into bidding wars because of pride or excitement. And neither of those should apply in this business. The other reason that bids will get high, is because of territorial whales. So take into account of all 3 of those, lockers will be high.
