Have you ever bought a unit that wasn't what you expected? You're thinking you just lost your a$$ and then BAM you found an item that saved the day. What was that item?

Had a $100 unit with lots of stuff but nothing of any value. Finally found a pair of new in the box mens Raiders athletic shoes. Sold em for $100. Then found $20 in a pocket. Covered the unit and the dump load. No profit but at least got our money back.

One my first lockers had a ton of USPS boxes and tons of clothes and household items.  I paid $150 so was not to bad probably going to make my money back but was going to take a lot of work then BAM!  And nice Spartan hand truck worth $200 new and was able to get everything in my van.  Still have the hand truck

for me it was my rat infested unit.  Ready to take the loss, which I did, and didn't remove 90% of the stuff.  But when I went thru one of the old purses. found the "Bang Bang" sold it for 100 bucks.  It saved my butt.

A $300 locker a big one mostly girls toys of no value  but in one box a broken off14K bracelet right on top. Had to have happened when packing.  Got about half my money back from that.  One piece of gold can make or break a locker but my experience is a crappy locker will not have anything good in it. A good locker has a lot of good things not just one.

Found a rusty piece of metal in the corner of an automotive unit.  Mostly car parts scrap metal stuff.   Nearly had it in the scrap, but didn't know what the heck it was so decided to do some research.  There was enough of the label left to make out most of the word thermadore.  Turned into $350 on ebay.
