Yeah, and I bet you can't guess which websites the owner of that site owns as well...HMM maybe 1 and 2?

Bet you also can't guess who is buddy buddy with the owner of these sites. The funny thing is, the rankings for the first two sites always stay the same while the others alternate throughout the day.

Wonder why this forum isn't listed? Well, that would be like putting a Coke can in a RC Cola commercial.  ;D

Well, look at #8 on the list....if both this forum and that one were not listed, you might have something to talk about.

Not sure which one #8 is because they alternate.

At 7:20 a.m. Pacific time on March 15, 2013 it was coming up as #15 on my computer.

Yeah, it was number 4 the last time I looked. There is no logic to it. The site was originally set up to track each site's stats, but no one wants to install their tracking code so the sites listed just bounce around from one position to the next.

There's a difference between Storage Auction Sites and Storage Auction Forums. A forum is a community, such as this. You cannot count the traffic to a website the same as the traffic to a forum. On the link list given this is what I found:

1. Storage Auction Central - 276 members
2. Uses same forum as one above
3. Storage Battles - could not find a "forum"
4. American Auctioneers - could not find a "forum"
5. Storage Treasures - Unsure of member count, but rather large forum
6. Auction Zip - 386,026 members
7. Storage Auction Experts - could not find a "forum"
8. Storage Auction Guide - could not find a "forum"
9. Extra Storage Space - could not find a "forum"
10. Storage Unit Auction List - can't load the page
11. This forum with 3019 members
12. Same as above
13. Same as above
14. One Self Storage - could not find a "forum"
15. Best Storage Auctions - 10 members
16. Same as #11
17. No "forum"

So to rate this as the top "storage auction forums" is therefore incorrect. According to the stats Travis posted on the traffic to storage auction websites, that makes this list still incorrect.

Remember, a blog/auction site does not necessarily have a "forum" and forum for storage auctions are not that many in which there are many members or traffic generated. Just did the research.

Overall whether it's a forum or auction site, the traffic as a whole signifies interest in the subject. It's the search engines that might be misdirecting people to one or the other based on the search terms entered.

There are only four forums that are worth mentioning.

StorageAuctionForums - which has more content than any other website that is specifically about storage auctions.
Storage Treasures - which is about a third of the size of this one
AuctionZip - has a large "auction" forum but there is very little content about "storage auctions."
Storage Auction Boards - about 1/20 the size of this forum

The other 3-4 forums have fewer than 500 posts and are stagnant.
