Title: What cleaning aids do you use to remove “magic marker” from items?
Post by: MovieMan on March 06, 2013, 09:20:29 AM: We all get items in lockers and from "picks" that are marked with black/blue magic markers, either with prices or names identifying the owner. This detracts or can ruin a sale.

What do you use to remove these marks (and/or store or mfg stickers)?

Post by: dbr831 on March 06, 2013, 09:35:47 AM: I had a lot of WWF figures that had magic marker here and there on them. Came off really easy with a cotton ball and nail polish remover. If it's on an item that you don't want to risk the nail polish remover maybe try those white magic eraser sponges. They are awesome for removing marks on lots of things.

Post by: calcoastgal on March 07, 2013, 06:06:08 PM: Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are awesome and remove marker off of most hard things. GooBGone is a staple in my cleaning kit as well as lighter fluid for sticker removal. For any kind of ink on fabric try plain old hair spray.
