Title: What is the farthest a customer has come to buy something from you?

I mean physically travel to your location. Not talking about Ebay sales overseas.  ;)

I had a guy make an approximate 520 mile round trip to buy some furniture from me last month!   :o

How about you?

I had a guy make an 800 mile round trip to buy a $400 item I listed on Craigslist.

It was nutty to me that he would do it, but the color of his Benjamins was a sight to behold.

Details are in reply #78 at link below.

Had a guy drive from somewhere in Illinois to my home in Tifton, GA to buy a tiller.  Bought some other items while he was here ;D  Said he had a friend about 100 miles from my house he was going to visit while in the area.  Guess his round trip was in the 1500 - 2000 mile range.
