I have bought them for $1 (with the auctioneer paying the $1) and for as much as $2,900.
How about you?

$1 is the least have lost money on some of them at that. $700 is the most I have ever spent on one. Made money on that one. I have paid about everything in between but my experience is that paying over $200 the odds of losing money goes way up.

Most I ever paid was $3300. '96 Dodge Stratus, 90's Honda Nighthwalk, a couple Cannondale bikes, 2 armoires, snowblower and then the rest of the normal household stuff.
Least I ever paid was $5 for a headboard and 2 pillows. Didn't even really want the unit but was at auctions for like 9 hours and figured I coudln't go home empty handed.

Least I have paid was $35 mostly arts and crafts stuff, an Atari 400 (not complete), and a vintage stackable washer and dryer.
Most I have paid so far is $480 (if I had the cash on me at the time I would of paid over $1000, but thats another story). That unit there was some furniture, sports memorobilia, and golf clubs. Also the unit I had gotten 5 locks with keys out of (brand new)

Least amount paid was free...Nice sofa with tears in it that nobody wanted. I have friends in the upholstery business and I knew what a tuxedo sofa would sell for. I once paid 5$ for a unit with two large boxes marked clothes. Nobody else was interested. It contained about $3000 worth of women's designer clothing with all of the price tags still on them.
Before the storage auction shows premiered, I rarely ever saw a unit exceed $1500. My all time high was about $1,100.

Least amount I have paid is $15 and the most was $410 on a lkr I bought this past Saturday. Going to have to do some work to make money on this unit!
