Title: When do you search for auctions?
Post by: Travis on March 31, 2015, 08:54:35 PM
Just wondering when you guys search for auctions? Are you the type that looks for auctions on Sunday, then plans out your entire week? Or are you the type that looks for the following day's auction the the night before? Or do you have a different method?

I search everyday, reading legal notices in about 12 online newspapers here in central Texas. I've found that looking just once a week isn't enough because on average, the facilities/auctioneers advertise about 2-3 weeks before the sale itself. I also am aware that just because there are, for example, 253 units in a caravan total (PS) from the ad, means there will be a lot less on auction day.
Of course, that's just me.  :93:

Not really, takes me about 15 min in the morning. I'm sure it takes y'all a bit longer!  :72:

Austin isn't too bad...the phone calls take a little time, but how else are you going to find the auctions for the facilities that use newspapers that don't publish their legal notices online?
