when you bidd how do U get the auctioneers attention

I'm trying to think of some funny odd **** to do on the next one lolll

Great idea, draw attention to yourself so the veterans know who to run up. 

If I'm new to the area / auctioneer I just keep an eye on him and raise my card / hand many times.  If it's an auctioneer that I know I just look him in the eye and nod my head when bidding.  This is what I do at estate auctions, and the one storage auction I've attended so far.  I can tell you the regulars keep a low profile for the most part.  The guy that won 6 lockers saturday mostly just raised his bid number to the center of his chest.  Was no yelling out or such stuff.

Well I don't mean crowd eye catching just something I've never seen before like a double foot stomp or somethin LOL

I just raise my hand or throw up a finger. It just strikes me as lame or trying to be too cool or something when you get some idiot doing the Dave yeeeep or other off the wall stuff.

Also, it seems like towards the end of the auction for a unit its normally down to 2 or maybe 3 people and then the auctioneer knows who he's dealing with out of the crowd and he's basically just looking back and forth between you and another guy and then a simple headnod will do

I either just name out my price or I nod my index finger towards the auctioneer. Nothing fancy, dont like bringing attention to myself.

Just call out a number.  From that point on the auctioneer will look your way every time a bid is thrown up.  Either nod or motion my hand

Thats an easy way to bid 200 bucks where I am.  I see plenty of newbs showing 2 fingers and jumping the bid on accident.
