Welcome to the forum fellow Texan.  What part are you from?  I am in Northeast Texas, little town called Mt. Vernon.

I am from NE TX as well! I am in the smallest county here in TX: Rockwall. I know Mt Vernon. Been there a time or two. Pass through a few times a year when we head out to camping somewhere.

Up this way scrap metal prices depends on how the wind blows.  Paris was giving $11/100lbs plus a .50/100lb incentive if you live out of their county.  Sulphur Springs was giving $9/100lbs a week ago.

Yeah thats why if your in the scrapping business and you are buying it it's best to turn it over quick because prices can fluctuate quickly
