Title: I have a thrift store in sa texas
Post by: khiller on July 25, 2011, 05:47:09 PM
I am wondering does anyine know how to market their thrift stir online, i.e. seo etc.  We have 3k square foot store, have been open two weeks and paid some high dollar rent for a very visible location by a goodwill and another very upscale used designer clothing store, and have thus far met and in some instances exceededour sales goals all without any marketing.  I can sale on ebay, craigslist etc, but really want to market our store on the internet.  Has anyone done this?  I am new to the storage side of it, I have owned a moving company since 1999 and this seemed to be a natural lateral move for us.... we have trucks, warehouse and men, just me to buy lockers.  Have bought eight so far and have doubled each time.  Probably just dumb luck... Any input would be great.

Thanks

Gregs list some popular items and mention your thrift store as the viewing place right in the posting, include operating hours too. As Movieman says block the email and only include your phone number (and address in your case) to avoid the spamalots.
Hit as many different categories as you can with the appropriate items for the heading so self appointed moderators don't start flagging your posts.

Hi,
I am in San Antonio as well. Been along while since I done anything with websites, but I am sure the SEO has not changed, shoot me a PM and maybe we can work out some sort of deal.
