Title: What day of the week is most popular for storage auctions?
Post by: Rufus on April 13, 2015, 05:37:39 PM
How common is it for storage auctions to be held on weekends?  I only ask because I have a job.  It requires me to work quite a bit during the daytime.  I have plenty of time on the weekends. That is if it isn’t football season.

Around me weekend storage auctions never happen.

Saturday auctions, especially ones listed on AuctionZip, are miserable. 40-60 people on average. Weekend warriors. Especially bad around tax refund season.

Around here, we rarely had weekend auctions. The reason being, most of the buyers were selling at the flea market on the weekend.  Sunday auctions are almost unheard of.

I can't speak for every city, but for the 5 largest cities in Texas, about 10% of the auctions occur on Saturdays. Sunday auctions are extremely rare. Online auctions may be a good fit for your schedule.
