Old mags - depends on what they are if has much value or not. I have a guy that comes to the flea who will buy them in lots. He takes articles / pictures out of them, adds it with other items, and makes these "theme art" or "theme pictures". Is pretty cool and while he may only sell 4 or 5 a day they go for $50 and up. Is a way to take semi-useless items and make them into something more valuable. He does thinks like KKK, Coke, Pepsi, JFK, MLK, M. Monroe, etc. Anything that people could be interested in.
Any sports cards you can take to just about any shop in the area. Watch which cards they seem to like but try to "low ball". Look for inserts, rookie cards, etc. Don't sell anything to them right off. Then take those cards and check ebay. Most coins, cards, etc. need to be graded and slabbed now a days to fetch a premium.
Dolls - I can't help you there. I have no clue on them.
If you want to do much of the leg work yourself some pictures on your phone and your local books-a-million or barnes-n-noble is a great place. Most anything "collectible" has a price guide to buy. I have ones for coins and paper currency. I've searched the record one. Seen dolls, coke products, etc. in that section also. To buy every book would cost hundreds, and why most of us use ebay.
I'm in GA but 2-3 hrs from Atlanta. If you have questions on coins (US or World) you can shoot me a PM. Good Luck.
