Ok so I won my second online storage auction

I will going up to pay the lady this afternoon and will take some better pics of what is in the unit.  Wanted to post this as a reference.

Feel free to guess what things are and I will award the players with answers!!!!

On another note I was the highest bidder on a very interesting unit but it was canceled earlier today.

You can definitely see 2 maybe 3 times your money, plus whatever can't be seen.

The fabric in the back could be worth some good money but it takes forever to sell.

It turned out to be an interior designer's unit.  It was to dark by the time I got there to take any good pics but I pulled some items to process at home.  Here is what I got and I could use some help.

Thats a painting I found with the title Brochard Texas 1964 by La Parube a huile

Then I also got some pillow cases?

There was also a nice dovetailed end table with a drawer that I left in the unit.  Of course all the rolled fabric was there.  I am looking on how to sell the fabric and would love some advice.

Thanks again guys for all your help, this forum has been a god send for me.  Hopefully as I get more experienced in this business I can pay it forward, like you guys.  You really do have to be an expert in my areas to succeed.

The painting is Rene Brochard.. This could pay for your room ten fold! A French Canadian artist, which would be why the title is in French. This is an absolute score, if you can authenticate it. His popular works sell for about $1,000-$2,500. Signature looks to be right. But you'd be better to take it to a local expert. I'm not sure how his art does in Texas, but the oil rig theme may increase the value of the art.

I knew you guys might know, I will be taking it to an art expert Monday.  Thanks so much.  If you are ever in Texas the first ten rounds on me!!!

Update
Sold the painting for $2500 from a consignment shop that took 20%
Sold the West Elm office set for $250
Still have all the fabric.  Looking for the right place to sell.  There were some beautiful handwoven baskets and hand stitched pillowcases I need to find a good place to sell as well.

Bought another online unit and was surprised not to find a $2000 painting in it.

Nice score! Now you only have to buy 50 +/- more units to get that rush again.  :)

No kidding.  That or get burned a couple on "great looking" units that I will buy for too much.

It's reaffirming to know that my spot analysis of that painting was at the high end of my estimate! Congratulations!
