Maybe I have just been in a hole or something but I just came across Fiverr.com. Don't know if you guys have heard of it or not. It's a really cool site where people sell all sorts of online services on the cheap.
Check it out. http://fiverr.com/

That's.....odd. I might just have to post a service.
I'll post your fiver post to fiver for a fiver......

I've bought a few things on Fiver... one purchase was over 300 "ebooks" on how to sell online,on ebay,CL,tips,etc.... totally redundant ,mostly outdated, but all in all after sifting through volumes and volumes I had plenty of useful info.. 5 bucks well spent,I'd say

Why is almost everything on the site five bucks. It makes me really question what I'm getting.
Maybe I should sell my e-book there. ;D
-
Or another idea - send me a pic of yourself and I'll make fun of you for $5. :D

Sales would triple (to 3 copies sold).

:D - Another graduate of the Sean Kelly school of comedy.
Actually it has sold 17 copies. :P
All kidding aside, I had to pull the book off Amazon. I sent a copy to my aunt (she is a professional proof reader) and she ripped it apart. My co-writer has made the corrections, I just haven't had time to resubmit all of the paperwork to Kindle Direct, Bowker and CreateSpace. VirtualStorageAuction.com has consumed every bit of my free time for the past 4 months...next week will be my first break.

So, all kidding aside, sales have increased 170% since the book's introduction. Now THAT'S the way to promote it !
Or to quote Travis, "...just kidding".

Other than the initial few posts made on the forum, I haven't really marketed it at all. Been waiting for the corrections to be made before I start the marketing campaign. I said it from the beginning; If I can just get it to the point where it's making $30 or more a day, I'll be happy. Even if it never sells well, it's still a great resource for AuctionsTX.com's new members.

ive been on fiverr for quite some time now. i still like it and used it, i bought 2 gigs last week. that said it has gone downhill a little bit. it used to be really cool gigs, now its a lot of crap thats essentially ebooks but for $5. rather than getting a personalized service its like ill sell you a guide on how to sell on ebay for $5 where as before it was more gigs like ill review your ebay account and make 5 personalized recommendations to improve it.
that said i have probably bought 100+ gigs on fiverr. sometimes you get what you pay for, othertimes you get something you could pay hundreds of dollars for for only $5. i've hired a lot of voiceover people to do messages on my 800 number. ive hired reviewers to review products and make review videos for me. i've hired web designers, graphic designers, had business cards made, logos made. i just recently had a really nice ebay template made.
i never got into selling.i have maybe 5 gigs posted but unles you really promote your gig your not gonna get that much action and i make more money off my other indeavors to be wasting time to make $4 cuz fiverr takes a $1 cut.
