Title: Found a new place to sell for free. It is worth trying it.
Post by: Mr Andersen on April 25, 2011, 10:37:52 AM
Today i received an email from a friend, and he told me about a place to sell for free online.
I have not tried it yet, but i still want to share it with you guys.
The more of us who try it the more we can see if it works.

Here is the link: corkin.com/

It will take a few people joining and a month or two of trying it to see any results of course, but let us know how it turns out.

I clicked on the San Francisco city link and looked quickly at the first page contents.

The first one was an ad for a guy who would haul trash to the dump.

The rest were solictations for people wanting to sell you their money-making ideas, a condo rental in florida, etc.

Didn't see any actual ads for an item sale, but they might have been in there somewhere on later pages.

Edit:

Just looked at Memphis. Two different temp agencies looking for a variety of workers...could be helpful to someone looking for a job who is doing auctions now to make some living money.

Also, people selling books, ideas, etc

Again, might be items somewhere but I didn't find them.

I just tried the link and checked out the for sale section in the area I live in. Everything from knives, couches, washer n dryers, vacuums, lamps, etc. etc.

Could work out for home furnishings? We'll see?!

Aha.....once again I looked too quickly. Now that I see the For Sale section that Gravell mentioned and clicked on that for my area I saw some items for sale. (found 64 items within 10 miles of my zipcode)

So, it's like Craigslist only with more graphics.

Then there was that MyYardSale website that Mr. A mentioned also. I guess there are quite a few venues for selling things with no listing fees.

So, if a few of the forum readers join this newest one maybe there will be some reports on how well it goes.
