For me it's some medical items which aren't covered by insurance.
You?

Windsor Chairs.
-
Appliances: washers, dryers, refrigerators. Usually gone in a day if asking $200 or less.

Small furniture. High end, vintage, antique End tables and chairs.
Car parts to classic's or dime-a-dozen cars. Like Honda.....
Tires. But people won't pay much for them.

Around here, toys sell real fast. Larger furniture items (sofa, dressers, dining room tables, etc.) sell well. Small furniture, I tend to sit on for a while. Sporting goods is another category that flies out the door as soon as I get it! In the last unit I bought, I snapped a pic of a men's bike, threw it up on craigslist with minimal text and someone met me at the unit 40 minutes later.

Funny about the furniture. It's opposite for me, the larger the piece, the longer it hangs around. Small pieces sell faster. Might be a difference in our price structure.

Could be a difference in price structure. I price to sell fast. Plus I have an advantage of having Duke, UNC, NC State and NCCU within 30 miles and ECU about 50 miles away. Plus about 10 other smaller colleges (Shaw University, Merideth College, etc.) close by. College students always need furniture!

I found what sells best for me in my area are bedroom furniture, especially full sets. All other kinds of furniture like desks, cabinets, end and coffee tables, etc. Also, I find people jump all over bed frames and headboard/footboard sets. I have also had excellent results selling printers. I have sold everyone I listed. I get immediate calls and interest in all of the stuff above. I won two units, both full of someone house contents, listed all of the furniture and all but a piece or two sold by the end of the day, and I didnt have to show 10 different people. Most of the stuff sold on the first or second visit.
