Site for selling books

New here and I haven't seen this mentioned. We bought a unit for 5.00 about a week ago. Got it home and started looking through it. Something I remember Dave H. saying was that books were easy money. So I'm like ok where? Did some research, found sellbackyourbook.com and gave it a shot. Ended up selling 7 of the books to them for 53.00! All the rest is gravy! Using the rest of the books for packing material  ;D

Thanks for the info. The last unit we got had 12 plastic totes of books in it and I figured they were not worth dealing with so I put them aside. Some of them are old. I'm gonna go check the site out now.

Thanks for the link will have to check it out.  Text books and obsecure books I've done ok with selling via half.com.  It's all your normal mass produced paperback and hardback books that I normally can't sell or isn't worth time/effort to for .50 profit.  Those type books I donate to goodwill for the tax write-off.

Thanks again.

Well I checked it out and is about what I expected.  They offer very low prices for books you "may" be able to sell on half.com.  The upside is you know you have a buyer and get paid in a decent timeframe it looks like.  Downside is you don't get as much money as if you try half.com or such site.

Mass market paperbacks that I tried they are not buying.  About what I expected on that.

So I would suggest you try half.com for a few weeks if have room, and then sell to them if all else fails.

Example book (The Braves Encyclopedia) - Half.com lowest price is $8.00 -- so say try and sell at $7.50
The website is offering $2.75 for the same book.

Ok thanks I'll give half a go. I sent off several books to them 2 days ago, 53.00 worth. I just got an email saying that my payment will be processed within 3 days. These were books like text books and one was an older medical textbook that still had the CDROM in the back unopened. They paid 42.00 for that one alone. I'll let you know what the outcome is as far as the money promised and the actual money paid.
