yes my store does sell on etsy, its a hit or miss kind of thing. I have posted upcyled items for example i take old picture frames give them a nice paint job mount board on the back and glue wine corks to them so you have a working corkboard that looks nice, I also take books cut out the middle and line it with cloth from clothing so you have a book safe, take wine and beer bottles cut the top off fill with jell candle wax and now you have candles. We also sell jewlery and antiqued furniture. You can list an item for 20cents for 3 months. Don't expect heavy sales on the site though, I have a girl moniter and post on their site for me. The site is geared twords women.

etsy has a lot of competition and i think if your not gonna keep up with etsy people only buy from regulars on there in my experience. i come across etsy type items so infrequently its not worth keeping an active profile and listing stuff on there for me

I have just opened an Etsy store about a month ago. So far I have only listed a few items. Mostly vintage jewelry. Made my first sale over the weekend. I linked the store to my Facebook page which is great because I sold a piece that way as well right out of the store. It is a lot of work but I have a lot of vintage jewelry to get rid of. I have gotten my niece to help by taking pictures so that takes one step out of what I have to do. So little time with so much to do. LOL

We make and sell signs and vinyl stickers there.  pretty slow.

As far as I know its just for stuff you make yourself, vintage items and arts/crafts supplies.

So *technically*, if you made a gun barrel (milled it yourself), had an antique firearm or loaded your own ammo it would qualify.  However, I'm sure they have some clause against it.  And doesn't strike me as the right demographics.  Doubt you would sell much.

Printers could technically fit too.  But probably would have to be a print specific printer.   Like a plotter or high end that does quality pictures/posters.   Don't think your average $45 HP inkjet would qualify.


I don't have an account.  I have a few items that I've been thinking of throwing on but just haven't gotten around to it.

One thing I do like is you can pull your listings (at least you could when I looked into it a year ago, may have changed)  So you can put on CL And etsy.  If it sells on CL you just pull your listing off etsy.

I think he meant stuff you make using a 3d printer. So self manufacturing gun parts, clips, etc. using a 3d printer, then it would qualify as homemade.
