For those of you with websites that accept PayPal or eBay stores, did you know that you can apply for a PayPal debit Mastercard and then apply for 1% cash back on all signature based transactions? I basically use my PayPal account as a checking account so this works out great for me.
I have looked at a few online banks that offer 1% cash back checking accounts. A couple of them look okay, but I feel much more comfortable using PayPal.
Anyone else signed up for the cash back debit card?

I've had one for a couple of years now. It's a good deal. No fees, except for $1 ATM fee. Around here there are free credit union ATMs. So the only fee I'll have is $1 for withdrawals. 1% cash back on purchases monthly. Only on credit purchases though, so don't use the pin pad when you're prompted.

I wish it was 1% cash back on all credit transactions, instead of only transactions which require a signature. Sure would be nice to get cash back when paying bills online.
-
I get cash back on all purchases even though it says signature required. I use it for my printing business and do like $20k a month in credit transactions all online. Some have required a signed credit form for my first transaction with the company but not after.

I get 1% on all purchases as well.

Okay cool. Then maybe I will too. I just signed up for it so I'll have to see what happens.

Chase has a 3% cash back with 5% at grocery stores and gas stations.
Use card to buy two $500 prepaid cards at grocery store make $50 ($42.20 after fee). Go home and pay off chase card. Use card to pay bills, groceries, gas at 3%-5% cash back. Then use prepaid to pay off chase card.

Is that a credit card or a debit card?
I didn't think you could buy pre-paid credit cards with a credit card, I thought they required cash or debit.

Your correct. You have to pick the "credit card" that is actually considered a gift card or better the pre-paid debit. The best being the ones with a PIN number.
Some grocery stores still won't let you fill it with a credit card and some credit card companies won't accept payment from them. Some grocery stores won't even let me buy them or money orders with a DEBIT card, cash only.
Ill have to look at what it is. I know it's not just the average visa ones.
Another tricky way I've heard of is buy online with paypal but link to credit card. So it thinks your buying with paypal but then paypal charges card. But then you get 1-3%, not 5%.
I've never done it these way so not really sure how it works or how cost effective it is.

Bank of america gives you 1% cash back, but if you redeem it for cash, they make it 1.5%
