Title: Money sent to PayPal account by mistake
Post by: Travis on April 18, 2014, 08:56:39 AM
Yesterday, I received a payment into my PayPal account that I wasn't expecting. Apparently, someone transferred funds to my account by mistake. Perhaps they entered the wrong email address. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Nope, things like that never happen to me. Of course you'll want to contact the sender and let them know about it since the transaction was logged and will eventually be traced back to you.

Alternately you could mail them an empty envelope (with tracking) and then say you sold them some concert tickets you had. With the tracking showing delivered PayPal will not remove the funds from your account. I'm just sayin'. :)

I choose option #1. It's just good Karma. Although, I do find it humorous how you can play both roles.   ;)
