Ghost Town Gold

I thought this would be show about actually going to old ghost towns (which I have done in the past) and finding leavings that you could take and then sell (some places wouldn't allow that of course; other places you could go further afield and find remnants)....BUT....

....turns out it's just like American Pickers, but along the old Oregon Trail. They go to towns and find residents who have old stuff for sale. And of course the items are overpriced. They were paying retail for some stuff.

Can't recommend this show based on what I've seen.

movieman tell us more about ghost towns, what are they like, what types of things do you find etc? ive always wanted to do the route 66 drive and hit a bunch of ghost towns. i think its cool how they are kinda stuck in time imagein there's some great collectible stuff. one thing that i always thought was alot of the really cool items your going to find are going to be large to the point you cant bring them with you or you rlimited to like one item.
