Title: Picking specialties
Post by: mhuynh9 on January 10, 2014, 10:16:46 AM
As Movie Man said I think I am becoming a picking convert.  I have been hitting a lot of thrift stores near where I work (there are four huge ones) and my specialty is Ebay and Amazon apps.  I scan stuff that is new and see if I can sell on Amazon marketplace or Ebay.  So far I have a hockey figurine I recently picked up at Goodwill for $2.

And after another post I think I am going to pick some washer and dryers this weekend.

I am just curious what you guys think your specialties are when it comes to picking.

If I told you that they wouldn't be specialites anymore and I don't need any more competition on eBay than
there already is.  ;D

I have had good luck with picking vintage Pyrex and Corning ware, I feel like I have an eye for the cookware of yesteryear people want now.

That's interesting. What sells well these days?
