Thought I would share this site with everyone here....I use it almost exclusively to find local, and some not so local, auctions in my neck of the woods.

Not sure how many states are included but I think there are a dozen or so.

http://mypublicnotices.com/PublicNotice.asp

Click on your state, in the drop-downs I select "Today" as I try and visit daily, choose "Auction & Sale", Keyword: "Storage" and select "All Newspapers", click search....small drop-down select "Complete Notices".

It even has a "Print Selected Notices" feature to make your day!

Hope some of you can get as much use out of this as I do.....saves an incredible amount of time & effort.

Howdy. I've been buying lockers on and off for the last twelve years. Took my father to his first one about 10 years ago and he has been hooked ever since. Gives him something to do since he retired...besides golf.

He goes for the larger "volume" units that sell cheap. Loves the smalls and low end furniture. He does mostly yard sales and has become almost famous in his township for his 4 "weekenders" a year. One in the Spring, two during the Summer and one early Fall.

Folks just marvel at the massive amount of product and are mystified trying to figure out where it all comes from. He usually does $1500 ~$2000 a sale with the last few hours of Sunday turning into "everything is a dollar". Works well and there is much less to be carried back to his shed....and for that I am grateful.

Over the years I have refined my tastes to smaller, quality units and don't mind paying a bit more when I see real value. This has lessened the number of units I actually end up with and that has been working out very well lately. No more dump runs, Dad ends up with the smalls that don't sell on EBay or CL and my trusty "FREE" sign out by the curb gets rid of the rest.....amazing what people will take as long as it's FREE.

I've lurked here for a while now and figured it was time to say hello, seems like a knowledgeable and friendly enough crowd.
