Even though this thread sucked, pretty sure thats the guy from AH who said 'Looking time is over, buying time is now' or something. Always made me giggle

The Lounge / Re: New member phrases?? aka "newbie" etc..
« on: September 21, 2011, 11:06:50 AM »
Maybe somehow tying it in to storage auction phrases, like 'Lookey-Loo' for newbies, or 'Whale' for big post counts. I'm sure others can suggest names for the middle counts.

http://www.scrapmetaljunkie.com/251/how-to-scrap-apart-a-computer-2

There's a guide to scrapping computers. I just got a few myself, hoping to get some kind of money out of them. And power cords can be sold to a scrap yard as Insulated #2.

I have noticed people bidding on units without tUSING there  lights and with out 2 good looks. Might as well use a blindfold. I call this blind bidding..

Had to laugh. You needed two seperate threads in different sections about this? Thanks for helping me add a post, I'm so close to an upgrade!

General Storage Auction Talk / Re: how many of yall do this full time?
« on: September 04, 2011, 03:52:48 PM »
I would love to do this full time, but am not in a situation to do so. I have to do auctions around my work schedule, when I wish I could work my schedule around the auctions!

I know these kind of questions are going to get asked alot in this thread, any known plans for NC?

I cant be sure but somehow I felt real genuine from the unlocked show, like toward the end when Mark came up, you really got the sense that everyone hated him. I kind of felt bad for him cause he thought they were all 'friends'.

Thought it was cool at the end that the texas guys mentioned their show ruining the buisness as well.

General Storage Auction Talk / Re: Mattresses!
« on: September 01, 2011, 10:28:30 AM »
I've recently discovered that matresses/bed frames/box springs are a quick sale in my area, never for much money but it is a return and saves it from being trash.

Great find on the guns. Pretty dumb of those two guys to come over with the 'compassion' speech. Still your doing more for the former locker owner than most of us would, hopefully she'll appreciate that.

The dad grabs his crotch before he hands his 3 year old the cigarette. What's up with that?

Three year old? That was a grown ass man with those moves!
