General Storage Auction Talk / Went to an auctionzip auction today
« on: November 30, 2011, 06:38:45 PM »
50 people showed up but only 6 or 7 were bidding on the on most of the units i saw a few i liked but prices were higher then i liked to spend on my first unit. The cheapest unit went for 25 and it had a washer and dry in it plus a windows 95 pc. The auctioneer would start the bid as soon as the door opened the first two units i didnt even get to look at. Also the bidders went ape **** crazy for a unit that was outside i heard one guy saying
"oh a unit outside i bet theres a bike or car in it" the door opens and it had a few nices things in it i think it was a 10x20. it went for almost 2k i was dumbfounded by that. the thing that sucks is its the closest place to me and they also alone use auctionzip i go to the next one but ill bring a little more cash. thanks for reading guys.

IMO

I would hold off on ever getting a resale license until your literally forced too. The less Uncle Sam knows about your side ventures and life the better.
haha i work for uncle sam

Nah people who pay sales tax usually don't have resale licenses so they tax it on resale. I haven't paid sales tax because my units have been at mom and pop places that don't ask for resale license #'s. National chains are another story.
never knew that you need a resale licenses
