if they are rich the price just went up 50%  :72:  and if they are poor it may go down 50%

If "The heart in me says to cut them a break" is a true statement you are probably in the wrong business. Most people lose their belongings due to some heart wrenching reason but 99% of those heartbreak stories comes down to people making bad choices IE "drugs, crime, ect. ect.". So  I don't feel bad i pay my bills and so should you.  :96:  and I meet at my house between my 110 lb shepherd and my sidearm im not afraid of anyone meeting me.  :72:

Yes I would but it would have to be at a good location with cheap rent, which is hard to find. But i know a guy who got 4000 sq ft on a main street for only $1000 a month lucky SOB.

:96: I tried to help a friend with paying him to help but he either kept wanting the items or wasn't available when I needed him. So I find it is so much easier to work the locker by myself.
This way I don't have to ask are you sure you looked thru that paperwork really good and there isn't any gift cards or cash???        :96:
yeah I dont have my movers sort product, I handle that myself. It goes too slow otherwise and they dont know what they are looking at, plus the temptation to snag a peiece of jewelry is too high. I have multiple helpers I shoot work to part time so there is always someone to help.

I sold a book on Amazon last year to a famous movie director. Book actually purchased by an assistant but it was shipped directly to one of the directors residences and had their name in the shipping info. Pretty Cool  :72:
That is cool.....

This same thing happens with on-site auctions too. For various reasons units get pulled at the last minute and do not get auctioned off. The only real difference with the online auction is that you get teased by seeing the contents before it gets pulled.

Yeah I know I've been doing this for a few years now, but the way they were talking to me just seemed shady, the owner never paid and the fact that I could make $20,000 - $40,000 + on that unit I have a sneaking suspicion that the owner of the facility took it for himself. I know they aren't allowed to do that but all they really have to do is sell it to a cousin for a couple of $$ and its theirs, I've seen it happen before.

The opening act was of Richard Sherman (Jay Pharoah) and Marshawn Lynch (Kenan Thompson) doing the NFL interview. I watched and never saw the Alf shirt.

It was the opening monologue the host was yelling at the drummer and he told him to cut his hair and take off the alf sweater

The sweater was in the opening act with the host "J. K. Simmons", he even said "take off that alf sweater" to Kyle Mooney.  :93:

anyone else have a strange story about an item they sold????

So had a unit full of product worth serious $$$$ and i had the high bid all week long so called the facility 3 hours before auction ended to verify the address and they tell me that there is a problem with the account for the unit im bidding on. I asked if the owner of the unit paid they said no and removed it right then. Maybe i always think the worst in people but a unit worth a ton of money selling for pennies on the dollar i assume the owner of the facility wanted it for himself.  :41:

Yes i always hire help to clean out units. Some days I buy 2-3 30 ft units and I'm not moving all that myself.
